Peter Talley’s 16ft motor boat the Jane Seddon is almost complete. She just needs to have 2 more coats of varnish and sort out her trailer. The 19ft gig from Stuart Island is in and getting striped out ready to re-rib. I found a few problems stern post has been cut all the way through at water line and has a loose block fitted in so needs replacing. The inner clamp is broken under rowlock plates both sides and needs replacing. All the ribs stop under the clamp?? and have rot in most of them under the seat riser. Planking all looks good just a few cracks to sort. The quick canoe is done. And i have started another 14ft white hall pulling boat
